{"id":288,"date":"2011-07-31T14:34:44","date_gmt":"2011-07-31T04:34:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fractalthoughts.com\/blog\/?p=288"},"modified":"2011-07-31T16:52:39","modified_gmt":"2011-07-31T06:52:39","slug":"mount-coot-tha-botanical-gardens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.fractalthoughts.com\/blog\/?p=288","title":{"rendered":"Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After all the fun I had <a title=\"Local Wildlife\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fractalthoughts.com\/blog\/?p=277\">last time<\/a> at the City Botanic Gardens with their waterfall we decided to see what flowing water might be available at its bigger out-of-town sibling. Since I had my <a title=\"Burblechaz\" href=\"http:\/\/burblechaz.com\" target=\"_blank\">Key Grip<\/a> with me to carry things I brought all my lenses, and even a tripod. We came away with several lovely shots, including my current favourite, a currawong in flight. In the expectation that it might take off I&#8217;d adjusted the camera settings in advance, and got rewarded with a sharp image of it flying away, including its reflection.
